Our Timeline
2001
the beginning
Jyoti Polyester was established with a vision to bring innovation to textile manufacturing. The company began with power looms and was among the early manufacturers to adopt electronic Jacquard technology, laying the foundation for its focus on advanced weaving.
2008
Pioneering Technology
Jyoti Polyester became one of the first manufacturers in India to introduce the advanced Picanol GTX Rapier Jacquard technology from Europe. The company also pioneered the introduction of Bonas Jacquard systems and looms in Surat, strengthening its position as an early adopter of advanced weaving technology.
2016
A New Chapter
Jyoti Polyester evolved into Jyoti Textile Industries, marking a significant step in the company’s growth. Operations moved to a brand-new manufacturing facility, equipped with advanced machinery and increased production capabilities to meet growing domestic and international demand.
2025
Expanding the Future
Jyoti Textile Industries completed another major phase of expansion with the addition of a new manufacturing plant and the installation of state-of-the-art Picanol Ultimax Rapier looms, equipped with advanced Staubli LX PRO Jacquard technology.
Our Leadership
A B.Tech graduate in Textile Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), Lalit began his textile journey creating Jacquard designs for weaving units. He developed a proprietary CAD-to-machine automation system, bridging traditional artistry with modern technology by converting artists’ sketches into digital files for automated punching machines.
He later founded Jyoti Polyester, which evolved into Jyoti Textile Industries, and pioneered the shift from conventional power looms to advanced rapier weaving with fully automated Jacquard technology. Today, he continues to drive the company through continuous learning, modern technology, product innovation, and vertical integration, with a constant focus on improving fabric quality and manufacturing capabilities.

A Master of Textiles graduate from North Carolina State University, USA, Yash represents the next generation of Jyoti Textile Industries. Building on the company’s strong manufacturing heritage, he combines formal expertise in textiles with international exposure and a modern approach to fabric development, design, and manufacturing.
Working closely with the company’s production and design operations, he focuses on product innovation, fabric development, process improvement, and expanding Jyoti’s capabilities for global markets. His vision is to build upon the foundation established by the previous generation while driving the company toward greater innovation, vertical integration, and international growth.
